This B&B is a bit out of town, on a working farm, with wonderful views. I have known the owners for years and they are good people, great hosts:

The Hood River Hotel is right downtown, which could be a fun place for the family-movie theater, restaurants, beach, and brewpubs all within walking distance

The Vagabond is on the west end of town about 5-10 minute drive from Saturday’s class. There isn’t much out there, but if you have transportation into town it is a nice place to stay with reasonable rates. It is where my out of town sidecar buddies always stay when visiting and they all rave about it. (541)386-2992

DOGS and PETS

We love taking our dog out in the sidecar. If you travel with your pets, we totally understand that. However, the sidecar class is not a good place to bring your animals. It is not safe for them and it is not safe for the other students. We would hate for you or your pet to get injured at our class and we are sure you would feel awful if your pet was hurt or caused injury to anyone in the class. If you travel with your pet, we strongly encourage you to make arrangements for it’s care during the class. Please do not bring your pets to the class, particularly the driving area.

Cascade Pet Camp is where we leave our dogs when we need to go out of town and can’t take them with us. It is a wonderful facility and they take great care of the pets left in thier charge. It is a very popular kennel and just like hotels in the area, it fills up fast. Make your reservations early if you can.
