1999 NARMA Tour of the Columbia Gorge

In 1999 the NorthWet NARMA pod came to Hood River to tour Mt. Hood and the Columbia Gorge. Most of these folks rode their Urals down from the Seattle area.

We had a BBQ at the house Friday night. Russ Noe, John Durkan and my brother, Dave broke out the instruments and played a little music for us.

Saturday morning we left town heading south and took back roads up over Mt. Hood

Before we reached Portland I led the group cross country through the Sandy River canyon and over to Crown Point, high on the cliffs above the Columbia River Gorge.
