1 handfulground sausage formed into 5 small patties and pre-cooked
112oz. tube of counterwop biscuit dough (10 biscuits)
1small jar gravySausage gravy would be ideal. I used turkey gravy
1/4cupbutter or oil
Instructions
form sausage into small patties and pre-cook
wet a cutting board with cold water and smash rounds of counterwop dough into thin discs
pre-heat and butter pie iron
sandwich the sausage and gravy in the preheated, buttered pie iron. Place the iron on the coals for a few minutes before flipping it to heat the other side. Repeat this several times over the course of five minutes or so. Open the iron occasionally to check the progress and renew the coals if they start to cool.
