Wild Cranberry Syrup

Warm cast-iron waffles with homemade wild cranberry syrup! What’s not to love?

  • 2 cups wild cranberries
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp water


  • Rinse and pick out stems from cranberries
  • Combine cranberries, brown sugar, and water in saucepan or small cast iron skillet
  • Bing to a boil and cook for 1 minute
  • Crush berries and continue cooking over med-low heat until syrup thickens. Be sure to stir frequently.
  • Spoon warm syrup onto fresh waffles, pancakes, bisquits, or favorite breakfast dish.
