Wild Cranberry Syrup

Warm cast-iron waffles with homemade wild cranberry syrup! What’s not to love?

Cook Time 15 minutes mins
- 2 cups wild cranberries
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Rinse and pick out stems from cranberries
Combine cranberries, brown sugar, and water in saucepan or small cast iron skillet
Bing to a boil and cook for 1 minute
Crush berries and continue cooking over med-low heat until syrup thickens. Be sure to stir frequently.
Spoon warm syrup onto fresh waffles, pancakes, bisquits, or favorite breakfast dish.
