Throwback Thursday – Walter’s First Ride

The Adventurer, Vernon Wade

Vernon was born in the Pacific Northwest and still lives in the shadow of Mt. Hood, near the small town where he grew up. Vernon has spent decades wandering the hills, hunting mushrooms, camping and riding motorcycles into the remotest nooks and crannies to be found in the region.

After working with Walter to train him to wear doggles and get used to his harness, it was finally time for his first ride in the sidecar.

He was a natural! He got his “sea-legs” under him and leaned his nose into the wind.

Look at that grin!

We looped over the ridge and came back down Fir Mountain.

Cutting over at Swyers Drive.

We arrived home before sunset.
