The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.

The moon, waxing into the third quarter has long since set, leaving only the stars to challenge the darkness.
The thermometer shows 34f, but everything is coated with a thin, bumpy layer of ice.
It is the first night this fall the temperature has dropped below freezing.
I need to finish packing for Halloween Camp. I still need to pack the kitchen and all the canvas. I have 45 tipi poles to strap on the truck. Pitter patter.
