DMC Glass Sidecar Fender

The steel fender on the Sputnik succumbed to metal fatigue after miles of potholes and washboard roads. A friend gave me a fiberglass fender from DMC. It even had a fresh coat of bright red paint which matched my rig perfectly! I fabricated a steel inner fender and rubber mounted the fiberglass piece to that.  The clearance light/ front turn signal came from NAPA. I swapped the Lucas tail light over from my old fender, and modified it to incorporate a rear turn signal.
