The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.

Yesterday, Amy and I met some friends in Government Camp and they took us on a mushroom foray. The woods were dry despite a recent thunderstorm and mushrooms were scarce. However, we were introduced to some new people and had a lovely walk in the woods.
When we got home we found Pete waiting for us with surprise birthday gift for me.
Yesterday was a damn fine day. I wonder what today will bring?
