12/10/25 6:30 58F (14.4C) Wild, warm, and windy.
The moon, waning towards half, is playing hide and seek in the clouds.
It is blowing hard. Maple seeds spiral to the ground and the few remaining oak leaves are ripped from their branches. Warm wind buffets my naked skin. Clouds tear across the horizon, rapidly moving east.
The rain has paused but I expect it to resume in earnest. The ground is sodden. There will be trees coming down.
Somewhere the most junior member of a news team is standing in the rain, waiting for catastrophe.
