The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.

Broken clouds are patchworked across the blue sky in the subdued light of a quiet dawn.
The wind and rain are taking a break. Perhaps like myself, they are enjoying a brief respite from the holiday frenzy.
I had left over cake for breakfast.
This evening we improved upon our previous record, with nine kids under the age of three and nearly thirty adults, for the most part in one room.
