The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.

An orchard sprayer whines far down the way, somewhere north of here.
I transplanted some corn and pumpkin yesterday and they seem to have survived the trauma. I have more starts inside.
I had put seeds directly in the ground several weeks ago but nothing has come up.
