The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.
6/23/25 5:30 51f (10.5c) This morning is bright and clear, blue sky with just a tickle of breeze. The sun is still behind the east ridge. Birds are happily twittering and flitting about. I am soaking and sipping cardamom tea. The tea is hot and strong enough to bite, but not quite bitter. Walter took a lap and laid down by the back door. We are going to ease into this morning.
The sun topped the ridge at 6:30, revealing lingering haze from the wildfires.
