5/26/26 6:30 47F (8.3C) The sun rises into clear, blue sky without a hint of drama and no wind at all.
Back from rendezvous, I need to unpack, get my gear cleaned and squared away, and then organize and repack for the next outing, less than a week away.
I’m going to need some help loading; my shoulder is still bothering me.
We’re taking the 18′ lodge this time, and perhaps the canoe. I may take the small painted lodge for a kitchen shade.
The critters seem glad to have me back.
Walter, betrayed by being left behind, has been following me like a shadow since my return.
He doesn’t know it yet, but he is coming with us to the Bro’s Camp next week.
Sheila Kitty made an unprecedented visit to the hot tub this morning. She performed a daring tight rope walk around the rim and sampled my tea, finding it wanting.
I’ve finished the tea. It is time to attend to business. I see I need to do some weed eating and the old mattress still needs to go to recycling.
Good morning.
