The waning moon keeps a jaybird company at the top of the birch.
We set the timer up on our sprinklers yesterday and this morning was the test.
After a brief struggle to get the Rainbird in the backyard aimed correctly, it seems to be working. The pulsing staccato of water from the nozzle is like a metronome, lending a frantic rhythm to my morning soak.
I am not sure I like it, but the mint, the clover, and the corn probably do.
