The world fills him with wonder. When he looks at the sky he is lifted into flights of fancy, when he stares at the earth he is drawn beneath its surface. He is delighted to find the macrocosm and the microcosm equally mesmerizing.
8/9/25 7:00 57f (13.8c) Clear sky, with a hint of breeze tickling the corn. The moon, full tonight, has set; the sun begins to rise above the east ridge. It is quiet against the intermittent intrusion of modernity, faint and in the background: now and then a distant car or the rumble of a jet passing far overhead.
