I hated the original tail light on my Triumph. Bulbous, plastic chrome, it was too ugly and too fragile for my intended use. I replaced it and the sidecar tail light with matching aluminum repro Lucas style lights from New Bonneville. The bulbs were replaced with LED units from the local auto shop. They are plug and play, replacing the incandescent with no modifications necessary.  I drilled the tail light lens and installed amber button LEDs for integrated signal lights, cleaning up the rear of the bike and making it easier to tie loads to the luggage rack without obscuring the turn signals.
