Camp Tittyhahaha – Day 5

The Adventurer, Vernon Wade

Vernon was born in the Pacific Northwest and still lives in the shadow of Mt. Hood, near the small town where he grew up. Vernon has spent decades wandering the hills, hunting mushrooms, camping and riding motorcycles into the remotest nooks and crannies to be found in the region.

Monday was another beautiful, sunny day at the coast, our fifth and final day of camping with the family.

Andy, Susan, Andrea, Josh, Amy and I were the die-hards remaining at Camp Tittyhahaha. We took a final walk on the beach, had breakfast and started packing up.

We stopped in Depoe Bay and had fish and chips at the Chowder Bowl. I read out loud to Amy as she drove us home, The Clue of the Hungry Horse by Earl Stanley Gardner.
